Tribute to Lucy Meadows

Protest against the Dail Mail
In memory of a courageous young woman who was so persecuted by some journalists of the British media that she felt her life no longer had any meaning. When the actions of these so called journalists results in a person feeling so persecuted that they feel worthless, then the British legal system needs to hold these press barons to account for their actions.

Michael Singleton, the coroner for Blackburn, Hyndburn and Rossendale, singled out the Daily Mail as he accused the paper of “ridicule and humiliation” and a “character assassination” of Lucy Meadows, 32, who took her own life in March. He berated the press, saying “shame on all of you” as he ruled that a primary school teacher had killed herself after her gender reassignment became national news.
